Parramatta Square

Sydney, Australia

As a critical part of the Parramatta Square mixed-use development, Future Food partnered with the City of Parramatta in masterplanning their two key buildings within the $2.8 billion project. As their Food & Hospitality Consultants, Future Food were tasked with conducting business case feasibility and competitive landscape assessments to ensure that the proposed food and hospitality within the 5 & 7 Parramatta Square have been considered against the requirements of the local community, the needs of Council and the presence of significant food and hospitality competition.

The development of a new civic building, containing council chambers, library, offices, meeting/event spaces and large ground floor café and the redevelopment of the historical Town Hall building and its adjoining spaces presented numerous challenges to overcome, to achieve successful food and hospitality outcomes.

Future Food not only advised on the retail
concepts, but played a key role in planning the
operational requirements for catering services in the Town Hall.

This consultancy spanned 18 months, as Future Food were instrumental in the project from initial planning, to design and through to running expression of interest campaigns to find the operators for the two restaurant/café spaces.

These two landmark buildings within the new Parramatta CBD have been planned with a food and hospitality mindset, to ensure they not only provide spaces and places for the community but contribute unique concepts to the precinct.
